THE ARCS heisst das neue Projekt von The-Black-Keys-Frontmann Dan Auerbach. Soeben wurde das Debütalbum "Yours, Dreamily," veröffentlicht und im November geht die Band damit auf Tour!
The Arcs sind Dan Auerbach, Leon Michels, Richard Swift, Homer Steinweiss, Nick Movshon, Kenny Vaughan und Mariachi Flor de Toloache. In der Band bringt jeder seine individuellen Fähigkeiten ein. So wurden die 13 Tracks für "Yours, Dreamily," gemeinsam geschrieben und aufgenommen. Die Musiker deckten dabei sowohl gesanglich als auch musikalisch unterschiedlichste Rollen ab. Co-produziert von Auerbach und Michels, wurde das Album binnen etwa zwei Wochen bei spontanen, ungezwungenen Sessions quer durchs Land aufgenommen, in der Sound Factory Los Angeles, im Diamond Mine in Queens, in Auerbachs Easy Eye Sound in Nashville sowie in einem Wohnzimmer im Electric Lady in Manhattan. Tchad Blake mischte das Album auf seiner Pferdefarm in Wales.
