Update vom 01. Mai 2016:
Die US-Rocker von In This Moment sagen ihre komplette kommende Tour ab, somit findet auch das geplante Konzert im X-tra Zürich am 19. Mai 2016 nicht statt. Grund für die Absage ist der gesundheitliche Zustand von Gitarrist und Gründungsmitglied Chris Howarth, der eine Tour zurzeit verunmöglicht.
Es wird keine Ersatztermine für die Konzerte geben. Somit verlieren gekaufte Tickets ihre Gültigkeit und können an den Vorverkaufsstellen rückerstattet werden.
Anbei noch die offiziellen Statements der beiden Bandmitglieder Chris Howarth und Sängerin Maria Brink:
Chris Howorth
"The people closest to me already know, but sadly now it's time for the world to know. I have been suffering from severe neck and back problems for the last 6 years and my issues have come to a head in the last few weeks. As of last Friday I am unable to move my head more than an inch or two in any direction. I now have the burden of making some pretty weighty decisions.
I am aggressively seeking treatment so that I can find a way to continue performing live. I need to be home in Los Angeles to get fixed up. I am devastated that our European and UK shows are affected by this but in order to keep moving forward with the band, I need to stay home and work on getting better.
I can't tell you how appreciative I am that we have such amazing fans and support from all over the world. I feel like I am letting you down and it breaks my heart. I truly hope to see you all again someday."

"It is so heartbreaking to me that we are having to cancel this tour. Last time we were in Europe and the UK I felt such fire and magic at the shows, I have just been dying to get back. It's a raw, rare energy that left a serious impact on us.
Chris has had neck problems in the past but nothing of this caliber. If he kept pushing as of now he could have done irreversible damage that could stop him from playing for good.
I know it's probably easy for you all to think "why don't you just go without him" but the truth is he is my partner, brother and one of my closest friends. Through all these years Chris has stood strong by my side through everything, he's never left me behind. I can't bring myself to do the tour without him....it wouldn't be In This Moment. I don't think our fans would be getting a true ITM show without him.
We take this very very seriously and we are so deeply sorry to have to do this. We LOVE our Europe and UK fans so much.
Chris is on top of taking care of himself and I believe he can be back to playing soon."

Wir müssen Ihnen mitteilen, dass das Konzert von In This Moment im X-Tra Zürich vom 12. Januar 2016 aufgrund der Gesundheit von Sängerin Maria Brink auf ein neues Datum verschoben wird. Die Band wird deshalb nun am 19. Mai 2016 im X-Tra Zürich auftreten.
Hier das offizielle Statement der In This Moment-Frontfrau Maria Brink:
"I am madly in love with our UK & European fans. It breaks my heart to have to postpone our tour, but before you know it, we will be there & I am counting down the days! On our last UK/Euro run, we had some of the best shows of our entire life! Getting back to you is my priority & I'm so excited to see you soon! We love you, thank you for your love and support."

In This Moment wurden 2005 in Hollywood gegründet. Schon das Debut-Album "Beautiful Tragedy" schlug 2007 hohe Wellen in den USA. Der ganz grosse Durchbruch kam aber erst mit dem vierten Album "Blood": Die Scheibe kletterte bis auf Rang 14 der US-Billboard Charts.
Die Band tourte mit Korn und Disturbed, spielte u.a. das Ozzfest sowie Rock am Ring und Rock im Park und ihre Fanbase wächst weiter kontinuierlich an.
Frontfrau Maria Brink verleiht den mächtigen Riffs und brachialen Grooves der Band eine aufregende feminine, geradezu sinnliche Note, die man innerhalb der männerdominierten Metal-Szene sonst kaum findet.
Doch die ganz grosse Stärke von In This Moment sind Liveshows. Auf der Bühne geht die tätowierte Frontlady Maria, welche schon auf diversen Magazinen als Covergirl abgebildet war und vom Revolver Magazin zum "Hottest Chick in Metal" gekürt wurde, ab wie eine Wildkatze.
Nun kommt die Band am 12. Januar 2016 für eine exklusive Schweizer Show zurück. Mit im Gepäck: ihr letztes Album ?Black Widow? sowie eine theatralische Bühnenshow der Extraklasse.
